Sacred Stones

This is the first test painting that I've done in photoshop to teach myself how to paint like those animation feature concept artist. I used a photo and messed around with various filters and tools to make this one. The runes i drew in later. I used a photo to get myself used to thinking in terms of shapes of color. Eventually when i build some skill and confidence I'll start painting my own pieces.
